How Can Reiki Benefit My Animal?
The Benefits of Reiki Energy Healing
Relieve Stress and Anxiety:
Animals can experience stress and anxiety from a variety of sources, including changes in their environment, exposure to loud noises and interactions with other animals or people.
Reiki has been shown to help animals relax and reduce stress by reducing the levels of cortisol (the stress hormone) in their bodies. This can help to improve their overall well-being and make them feel more comfortable and at ease.
Promotes Physical Healing:
Animal Reiki can also help promote physical healing in animals. By channeling healing energy into the animal, Reiki can help their body to heal itself more quickly and effectively.
This can be especially useful for animals who have been injured or are recovering from surgery.
Addresses Emotional and Behavioural Issues:
Many animals struggle with fear, anxiety and other emotional challenges that can impact their quality of life.
Reiki can help animals release these emotions and promote feelings of calm, peace and security which helps to improve their behaviour while allowing them to feel loved, supported and happy.
Complements traditional Veterinary Care:
Animal Reiki is a complementary therapy that can be used alongside conventional veterinary treatments to provide a holistic approach to animal care.
It is a safe, non-invasive and highly effective form of energy healing that can enhance the overall well-being of animals.
I highly recommend Momentous Reiki. Moe is kind, patient, and very understanding. She worked amazingly with my dog Harley who was struggling with anxiety since the loss of our older dog Stella. Harley had been exhibiting excessive chewing, itching, and changes in her mood. Harley also experienced anxiety about her paws being touched since she broke one as a pup. After one session with Moe, Harley's spirits seemed to have been lifted, and she stopped the excessive chewing. Harley also started to shake a paw, something she had never done before due to the reasons above. Moe also gave us awesome tips for both us and Harley, and even recommended a probiotic for Harley's ears which also helped with the itching and chewing. My family and I, including Harley could not be happier, and highly recommend Momentous Reiki. ~Emily Donovan

Getting StartedJust before we begin, I like to ask if there is a specific reason for this session. For example: “ I’ve been having really bad headaches”, "I haven’t been feeling like me”, “I would like to be more grounded”, to “I just need an energy boost.” This way I am able to set an intention for the frequency of healing energy and we can let Reiki focus on your concern
What Happens After?Once the session is over, you are urged to take your time to become more aware of yourself and your surroundings. You may have fallen asleep or just been so deeply relaxed that you need to take a minute to gather yourself. At that time we can share anything about the session regarding what you and I experienced during the session and where to go from here. Your feedback is always welcome!
How Often Do I Need Reiki? The frequency of sessions is different for everybody. Some people find great benefit from regular biweekly or monthly sessions as part of their self care regimen and time to adjust to their newly tuned energy frequencies. Others love to come weekly as they find benefits in their symptoms as their energy becomes stronger.
Is it a replacement for veterinary care? No. Animal Reiki should not be considered a replacement for veterinary care. It is a complementary therapy that can be used alongside traditional medical treatments to promote healing and improve the overall well-being on animals.
